Is an annual gas boiler service mandatory?
Yes. In France, since the decree of 9 June 2009, gas boilers from 4 to 400 kW must be serviced every year by a professional, who gives you a certificate (service report) to keep for at least 2 years.
What does the maintenance contract include?
From €150 incl. VAT per year (€150 for a conventional flue boiler, €160 for a condensing boiler): the full annual service and call-outs, plus unlimited repairs for the whole contract, with a visit within 48 to 72 hours if your boiler breaks down. Only spare parts are paid for by the owner or tenant.
How much is a repair without a contract?
The call-out is €40 in Marly-le-Roi and nearby, €50 for towns further away in our area, then labour is €60 incl. VAT per hour; every quarter hour started is charged. Parts are extra and priced before the repair.
Who pays for the service: the tenant or the landlord?
For an individual boiler, the annual service is paid by the tenant, unless the lease says otherwise. Major repairs and replacement are paid by the landlord.
Do you install new boilers?
No. ELOGAZ specialises in servicing and repairing existing gas boilers. We do not install or replace boilers.
Why don't you work on boilers over 20 years old?
After 20 years, spare parts become rare or unavailable and a repair is no longer reliable. We would rather be honest than charge you for a pointless visit.

What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6:30 pm. In winter, we are also available on Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
